Schwerpunktthema Chemie in NMP

Im 7. Forschungsrahmenprogramm wurde die Chemie im Thema 4 "Nanowissenschaften, Nanotechnologien, Werkstoffe und neue Produktionstechnologien - NMP" unter der Rubrik 4.2.4. "Fortschritte in der Chemische Technologie und der Werkstoffherstellung – Advances in chemical technologies and materials processing" in besonderer Weise berücksichtigt. Seit dem 5. Call (Arbeitsprogramm 2011) sind die Unterthemen anders zusammengefasst, aber chemierelevanten Themen werden weiterhin in Thema 4 ausgeschrieben.

Die Ausschreibungsthemen aus diesem Bereich sollen das Verständnis der grundlegenden chemischen Wechselwirkungen und Prozesse verbessern und dadurch die Produktentwicklung neuer Werkstoffen voranbringen. Neuentwicklungen in der Werkstoffchemie und der chemischen Prozesstechnologie, vor allem im nanoskaligen Bereich, sind der Schlüssel für Werkstoffinnovationen sowie einer umweltfreundlichen, flexiblen und effizienten Werkstoffverarbeitung.
